Ty Mayberry (SAG/EQUITY) NEXT>

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Ty Mayberry was a member of the Tony-Award Winning Resident Acting Company at the Alley Theater for four seasons. His 21 shows and over 800 performances include Evan Wyler in Douglas Carter Bean’s As Bees in Honey Drown, W;t with director Martin Benson, Demetrius in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, the title role in George Bernard Shaw’s The Devil’s Disciple, Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Jake Mace in the American Premiere of Alan Aykborn’s House and Garden directed by the National Theater’s Stephen Rayne, Moses Jackson in Tom Stoppard’s The Invention of Love, and received national acclaim by the New York Times and Variety for his portrayal of Nick in the 40th anniversary production of Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf? opposite two time Tony winner Judith Ivey. Ty finished his final season at the Alley by playing the title role in Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Since moving to Los Angeles in September 2003, Ty has shot five independent films, which are all currently on the festival circuit.
